High ambient temperature in a Steel, chemical, cement/sugar plants or in aeronautics, ships, coalfields and refineries call for materials that can withstand the severe ageing conditions during operation and also to ensure appropriate current rating at ambient temperature. EPR/Butyl rubber insulation stands up to 85șC continuous conductor temperature at operating condition and Silicon rubber can withstand conductor temperature up to 180șC.

The Neoprene, Nitrile and CSP sheathing are formulated with high abrasion resistance, oil and fire resistance properties. They are tough and Flexible to cope with tropical condition of mining and rough floor surfaces. EPR insulation with chlorosulphonated sheathing can withstand high ambient conditions having long durable ageing properties.
