These fall under Two Categories:-

Cables for Fixed Installation
Tinned Annealed copper / aluminum conductor, heat resisting elastomer insulated (with conductor & insulation screened as required) Un-armored, Heavy duty or heavy duty HOFR Elastomeric compound sheathed overall, single core or 3 core type, cross section 16 sq. mm. to 1000 sq. mm.

Cables of Flexible Type
Tinned annealed copper conductor, heat resisting elastomer insulated (with conductor and insulation Screened as required) Unarmored / Armored (Armoring of pliable wire armor type or steel wire braiding), heavy duty HOFR elastomeric compound sheathed overall, single core or 3 core type, cross section 16 sq. mm. to 1000 sq. mm.

PLIABLE ARMORED FLEXIBLE TRAILING CABLES AS PER IS: 1026.

Range of Cables:

Three and four cores pliable armored flexible cables with general service or heat resisting elastomeric insulation suitable for working voltage up to and including 1100V between conductors. These cables have 2 or 3 power cores plus one earth core laid up around a cradle separator. The nominal area of conductor is 6 sq. mm. - 300 sq. mm.

Four core pliable armored flexible cables for earthed 3-phase system with heat resisting elastomeric insulation suitable for working voltages of 3.3 KV between conductors (Uo / U-1.9/3.3KV). These cables have 3 power cores plus one earth core laid up around a cradle separator. The nominal area of conductors is 16 sq. mm - 300 sq. mm.

Four core pliable armored flexible cables for earthed 3-phase system with heat resisting elastomeric insulation suitable for working voltage of 6.6 KV between conductors (Uo / U-3.8/6.6KV). These cables have 3 power cores plus one earth core laid up around a cradle separator. The nominal area of the conductor is 16 sq. mm. - 300 sq. mm.

Applications:

Pliable armored cables are used for power supplies to remote control circuits, coal face lighting roadway services and equipment that are moved occasionally such as coal conveyers and loaders.
