Quality Assurance Procedures

The Quality System is implemented from the very first stage of procurement of raw materials upto the final stage of dispatch of goods to consignee after verifying and ensuring the quality of the product.

The positive steps taken for the assurance of quality are given below:

• Contract Review

               Scrutiny of the order received with the quotation submitted for its conformance to all clauses like rate, mode of dispatch, sales tax, etc. This activity of contract review is specifically undertaken and recorded for each order.

• Development of Vendors and their periodic assessment

           The procedures are established for the procurement of raw materials like, rubber, copper conductor etc. from reputed / well established vendors, who are assessed from time to time for study of following important parameters:

• Quality policy and quality system implemented by the firm.
• The status of personnel and infrastructure including test facilities.
• Financial soundness.
• Quality of product as per past performance.
• Competitive prices.
• Adherence to contracted delivery schedule.

• Prototype advance sample

        The design / development activity of the product is undertaken keeping in view of the technical aspects of the contracted specification. Based on the past experience and the customers specific requirements, a sample is prepared for its verification to the desired specification. Only after manufacture of acceptable prototype the bulk manufacturing is taken up.

• Process Control

                   The process for the manufacture of the cable to the desired specification are first identified on ground keeping in view the manufacturing facilities available in-house and thereafter it is implemented during manufacturing process at every stage. A strict monitory is carried out at each stage to ensure the implementation of process control and the quality of the final product.

• Identification and Traceability

• The product is identified as per the relevant procedure from applicable documents during all stage of production.
• The individual product shall be allotted a specific batch / lot No. for proper identification purpose.
